Higher power view of the previous image shows bland oval nuclei with no atypia, dispersed chromatin, and indistinct nucleoli. Lymphocytes are absent. Type A thymomas do not show distinct lobules separated by fibrous bands unlike other types of thymomas.   return to Thymoma : Type A (Spindle Cell Type)
