Intermediate view of thymic follicular hyperplasia. The lymphoid follicles are composed of B cells and are of secondary type with formation of germinal centers. Other conditions where thymic follicular hyperplasia may be seen include: hyperthyroidism, lupus, Addison’s disease, early stages of HIV infection and other immune-related diseases.
