Comments:
Intravascular lymphoma (Angiotropic Lymphoma) is a term designated for a malignant lymphoma, usually large B-cell type, that shows predilection for blood vessels in brain, adrenals, and skin. Patients usually present with CNS manifestations – altered mental status (as in this case), dementia or stroke. This results from clogging of vessels by malignant lymphoid cells resulting in multifocal cerebral infarction.
