Comments:
This 79 y/o male died 3 weeks after being admitted for altered mental status. Autopsy showed petechial hemorrhages in brain and other viscera. No gross lesions were apparent. Sections of brain showed highly atypical lymphoid cells clogging the blood vessels. They were positive for L26 and LCA.
