Comments:
A clonal chronic myeloproliferative disorder with anemia, progressive bone marrow fibrosis, hepatosplenomegaly, and extra-medullary hematopoiesis. This splenectomy specimen shows evidence of extra-medullary hematopoiesis consisting of clusters of megakaryocytes and myeloid precursors.
