Hodgkin Lymphoma - Gross

Topic: Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Category: Spleen

slide 2 of 4

Comments:
Spleens involved by Hodgkin lymphoma may show a single or a few large nodules (shown here) or multiple smaller nodules with a miliary distribution (previous image). Sometimes, small nodules may be inconspicuous and require meticulous sectioning. The number of nodules should be reported as it has prognostic significance (specifically mention whether there are 5 or more nodules).   return to Hodgkin's Lymphoma
