Comments:
The patient was a 63 y/o female with axillary and hilar lymphadenopathy and splenomegaly. Splenectomy specimen showed multiple parenchymal nodules measuring up to 1 cm in diameter. Sections showed non-caseating granulomas consistent with toxoplasmosis. Serologic tests confirmed the diagnosis.   return to Infection / Inflammation
