Polyembryoma is a distinct pattern of mixed germ cell tumor that attempts to recapitulate embryonic architecture. In this image, three embryoid bodies are seen. Each is composed of a central portion of embryonal carcinoma between a ventral yolk sac tumor component and a dorsal amnion-like space.
