Comments:
High power view of anastomosing bony trabeculae lined by a single layer of osteoblasts. The bony trabeculae are usually thick and well-formed. Occasionally, delicate lace-like osteoid similar to that seen in osteosarcoma may be found. The spindle cell stroma lacks atypia. Some osteosarcomas have foci identical to osteoblastoma and it may be impossible to distinguish between the two in limited material.   return to Osteoblastoma
