Comments:
Tumor cells in embryonal carcinoma have abundant cytoplasm and large vesicular nuclei with prominent macronucleoli. Unlike seminoma, the cytoplasmic borders are indistinct. Karyorrhectic debris, increased mitotic activity and atypical mitoses are additional findings.
