Embryonal Carcinoma - Immature stroma

Topic: Embryonal Carcinoma

Category: Testes

slide 12 of 12

Comments:
Embryonal carcinomas are capable of producing a limited amount of immature stroma (as seen in this illustration). However, some authors would consider stromal component to represent immature teratoma and label such cases as mixed germ cell tumor (Embryonal carcinoma + immature teratoma).    return to Embryonal Carcinoma
