In some cases, there is abundant collagen deposition (as seen here) creating a resemblance to keloid. Rare cases of fibromatosis of breast occur in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis resulting from germline mutations in APC gene on chromosome 5q.   return to Fibromatosis
