Hamartoma of the breast is usually seen in premenopausal women, but can occur in other age groups. The lesions are usually well-circumscribed, round or oval masses surrounded by compressed breast tissue forming a pseudocapsule. The adenolipoma variant is composed of varying proportions of adipose tissue and breast parenchyma.   return to Hamartoma
