Seminoma : Gross Morphology

Pink-tan multinodular areas showed viable seminoma. The intervening greyish-white, fibrotic-appearing areas represent regressed germ cell tumor. They were composed of hemosiderin-laden macrophages, scattered chronic inflammatory cells, and delicate blood vessels embedded in a sclerotic background.
