Acute Epididymo-orchitis

Comments:
An atrophic seminiferous tubule containing residual germ cells and Sertoli cells. It is surrounded by a dense infiltrate of lymphocytes and plasma cells. Some cases of acute epididymo-orchitis heal with deposition of fibrous tissue. Others persist and go on to become chronic epididymo-orchitis.
