Comments:
The glands are lined by a single layer of cuboidal or flat cells. Myoepithelial cells are usually absent. Thick basement membrane is present. The main differential diagnosis is with tubular carcinoma. Microglandular adenosis is considered to be a lesion with premalignant potential.   return to Microglandular Adenosis
