Intraductal Papilloma of Breast : Solid type

Topic: Intraductal Papilloma

Category: Benign Prolif. Lesions

slide 7 of 10

Comments:
Solid, non-cystic papillomas are sometimes classified as ductal adenomas or adenomyoepitheliomas. The cystic space in this papilloma is nearly obliterated creating a solid appearance with complex architecture. Epithelial hyperplasia, fusion of papillary fronds and stromal overgrowth has resulted in a pattern resembling sclerosing adenosis.   return to Intraductal Papilloma
