Meckel Diverticulum

Comments:
The specimen is from an 8 month old boy who presented with intestinal obstruction. During surgery, intussusception was noted 60 cm proximal to ileo-cecal junction and a Meckel diverticulum was found. Microscopic examination did not reveal any heterotopic tissue.
