Comments:
Subtotal gastrectomy specimen from a 76 y/o male with history of melena of three months' duration. Biopsy had shown adenocarcinoma. The specimen shows a 6.5 cm ulcerated, fungating tumor along the greater curvature. On the serosal aspect, the omentum was adherent due to infiltration by the tumor. Case courtesy of: Dr. Sanjay D. Deshmukh & Dr. Harveen Kaur Gulati, Dept. of Pathology, Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Narhe, Pune, India.   return to Gastric Carcinomas
