Comments:
Invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma of the lung is composed of goblet cells or well-differentiated bland columnar cells with abundant intracellular mucin. The cells line the alveolar septa in lepidic fashion and have basally-located nuclei lacking cytologic atypia. The surrounding alveolar spaces are often filled with mucin.
